We are always looking for contributors for our daily blog updates. If you would like to contribute to The Muppet Mindset, email Ryan Dosier at muppetmindset@gmail.com with your idea for an article.

We accept all kinds of article contributions based on the Muppets, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, and occasionally other Henson "universes" (The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Dinosaurs, etc.) as well. We accept opinion articles, product reviews, whatever! We do reserve the right to refuse any article and edit any article as we see fit. If there are specific pictures you would like to include with your article, please submit those at the same time you submit your piece.

As well as accepting fan-created articles, we are currently taking submissions for the following series of Muppet Mindset articles:
Staff of The Muppet Mindset

RYAN DOSIER
Ryan Dosier is the founder of The Muppet Mindset. A talking sandwich told Ryan to spread the good news about the Muppets and the rest is history. Ryan has interviewed Kermit the Frog, Bill Barretta, Jerry Nelson, Elmo, Peter Linz, Walter, and many other Muppet-related individuals--and none of their careers suffered because of it. Ryan attended the World Premiere of The Muppets in 2011 where he met Jason Segel and covered the World Premiere of Muppets Most Wanted in 2014. Ryan plans to continue running The Muppet Mindset until his fingers fall off or until he has to go into hiding. (I swear that penguin jumped in front of my skateboard.)

Lisa Alexander is the right and left hand of The Muppet Mindset--and fortunately we're ambidextrous. Lisa has been a close associate of Ryan Dosier for six years and when The Muppet Mindset was started there was no one else he'd rather have watching what he said than her. Hired on as an intern, Lisa is quite adept as an article writer, spelling and grammar checker, and cheap worker (she works for peanut butter and popcorn--usually not at the same time).

THE BRITISH CORRESPONDENT
What is there to say about The British Correspondent? Someone who has taken over The Muppet Mindset on multiple occasions, someone who has done unspeakable things to Ryan's cat (the poor cat can't speak any more), and someone who, on the rarest of occasions, actually produces quality work. What is his position at The Muppet Mindset? Usually a crouched position hiding in a closet or outside Ryan's bedroom window.

CHRIS STULZ
Chris Stulz is a frequent contributor of graphics for The Muppet Mindset. In fact, Chris's work can be seen almost once a week in every edition of Weekly Muppet Wednesdays. Chris also runs the popular and informative fan page Muppet Stuff out of his basement where he spends hours training mice to catalogue and organize various Muppet collectibles.

DAVE HULTEEN, JR.
The Muppet Mindset's go-to artist, Dave Hulteen has provided an inordinate amount of wonderful artwork for Muppet fan sites. Dave designed the gorgeous headers for our one year anniversary and the holiday seasons of 2009 and 2010. Dave is one of the most talented artists in the Muppet fan community and also likes photographing dead fruit. Visit Dave at his website DaveHulteenDesign.com!

JAMES V. CARROLL
James Carroll is an official Disney/Muppet artist, selling out two Muppet art prints through Acme Archives. The handiwork of James Carroll can be seen all over The Muppet Mindset. James is responsible for the clean-cut professional look that has become trademark here at the Mindset. James also developed, designed, and illustrated a fully-working Flash program "How to Draw Pepe in 10 Easy Steps." Visit his website at jvcarroll.com.

Frequent Contributors to
The Muppet Mindset

Jarrod Fairclough is a terrific Muppet fan born and raised down under in Australia, where he was lucky enough not to be eaten by a dingo as a baby. For The Muppet Mindset, Jarrod has chronicled his trip to America, alerted us to phony-baloney Muppets, written an essay comparing Count von Count to the Twilight craze. and his own series of articles "?" with Jarrod Fairclough where he asks the tough questions such as "Why does Pepe say 'okay'?" and "What the heck is going on with the Fraggle Rock movie?"

JAMES GANNON
James Gannon, also known as "The Muppet Comic Mondays Guy" is one of the most frequent contributors to The Muppet Mindset with over 30 tags on Mindset posts. Nearly every week he submitted his reviews of various Muppet comic books for us to enjoy. James took over this duty from Ryan Dosier after the owner of Dosier's local comic book store banned him for asking about Muppet comics far too much. With the continued release of The Muppet Show Comic Book under Marvel, James' reviews returned.

You'd be hard pressed to find someone more knowledgeable about Sesame Street than Shane Keating (except maybe Joan Ganz Cooney). Shane has been contributing to The Muppet Mindset since week one (and he's still here?), where he reviewed new Sesame DVDs. Since then he has written weekly reviews of Sesame Seasons 40 and 41 and gave us a review of the Sesame Street: 4D Movie Magic at Busch Gardens.

JUSTIN H. PIATT
For over a year, Justin H. Piatt has been contributing articles to The Muppet Mindset. His work includes a series of articles called "Discovering the Best of The Muppets at Their Worst" which looks at the redeeming qualities of Muppet projects that most Muppet fans agree are less than wonderful. His articles, however, are completely wonderful and Justin always provides a great amount of... whatever it is he provides.

MICHAEL WERMUTH, JR.
Michael Wermuth is one of The Muppet Mindset's most frequent contributors. He has contributed numerous articles of Top Ten lists, Christmas lists, and grocery lists (okay, so he didn't do that last one, but we do need eggs). He is also a frequent contributor to Weekly Muppet Wednesdays where he has written spotlight articles for characters such as Herry Monster and Baby Sinclair from Dinosaurs. His favorite Muppet is Lips... hence the picture.

 CASEY DARON
Casey Daron is the youngest member of The Muppet Mindset contributor team, but you wouldn't know it reading his articles. Casey works hard to showcase (Kind of) Weekly Muppet Quotes with favorite lines from Muppet productions and Muppet characters. Recently, Casey has used the Muppet Quotes segment to spotlight specific characters such as Floyd Pepper. Casey's homework and bagpipe practice keep him pretty busy, but we're always thrilled to have him contribute to The Muppet Mindset.

HILARIE MUKAVITZ
Hilarie Mukavitz has provided us with a multitude of wonderful articles, and has started her own article series, Muppet Maestros. From Alice Cooper to John Denver, Hilarie has provided us with insights into the musical contributions of numerous artists (even though she only plays the electric triangle). Hilarie has also written articles showcasing the Great Straight-Men of Muppet History, as well as Everything in Life She Learned from Miss Piggy.

MAXWELL JESSOP
Max Jessop is one of the youngest frequent contributors to The Muppet Mindset, but much like Casey Daron, you would never guess it reading his writing. Max has written many great articles for the site, including taking over the recurring series "How To..." He has contributed numerous Weekly Muppet Wednesdays articles and even gave his own guest lecture for Muppetology 101.

KYLE MAHONEY
Kyle Mahoney has contributed many articles to The Muppet Mindset and started two brand new series: Weekly Human Wednesdays and Muppet Retro Reviews. Kyle has enjoyed much popularity from on The Muppet Mindset, complaining that he can no longer walk down the street without being recognized. (Of course, this could also have something to do with his recent penguin butler scandal... but he swears it's our fault.)

ABIGAIL MAUGHAN
Abigail Maughan is one of the more recent frequent contributors to The Muppet Mindset, contributing numerous Weekly Muppet Wednesdays articles focusing on female Muppet characters. Since Abigail is herself a female, she has a deep insight into these characters. Her favorite contribution is her Weekly Muppet Wednesday article spotlighting Bear (from the Big Blue House).
